The Huntington TopWords App is a great way for students on the go to improve their vocabulary in preparation for the SAT* or ACT* exams. Huntington has assembled the top 101 vocabulary terms that appear on the SAT exam into an easy to use iPhone app that provides flash cards, multiple choice and word search functionality.
Select from one of the three modes:
Flash Card:
Tap the screen to see the definition of the word currently being displayed. Swipe the screen to advance to the next word.
Multiple Choice:
Select the word that best fits the blank space in the example sentence. Swipe the screen to advance to the next word.
Word Search:
A searchable glossary of the words in this app. Scroll through the list of words or use the search to find the word you are looking for. Tap the word for a definition and example sentence.
